Around the mill of the Minière, in Monnières, one of the highest points of the vineyard, extend the vines of the domain. At the Ménards, the story is far from over since François, sixth generation, settled in 2021 to continue the family history by highlighting the potential of Muscadet wines.
The whole domain is cultivated in Organic Farming in order to respect the soils and let the terroir fully express itself. The estate's vines cover around fifty hectares in the towns of Monnières, Gorges and Le Pallet.
Their range: Cru Gorges, Cru Monnières Saint-Fiacre and Cru Le Pallet, Muscadet Sèvre and Maine sur Lie and a new range inspired by François Ménard (several plot cuvées, in particular one without sulfur with a pellicular maceration and aged in an ovoid tank in sandstone)
The tasting cellar is open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Visits and tasting by appointment. Disabled access.
Open doors and food & wine pairing sessions the second weekend of December.
A tourist cellar in the Loire Valley, Domaine Ménard-Gaborit also has a reception room and a panoramic terrace for business seminars and teambuilding activities.
The estate supplies many restaurants, wine bars and wine shops in the Nantes region and exports to Europe, the United States and Asia.
Find articles on the estate in the national and international press such as La Revue des Vins de France, Cuisine et Vins de France, Wine Enthusiast.
The estate received the Gold Medal at Paris 2021 for its Muscadet Sèvre et Maine 2020 and the Prix Plaisir (Silver Medal) for the Clos Cormerais cuvée in the Bettane + Desseauve guide.
